Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the MOVr platform.

By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services.

1. Use of the Platform

MOVr provides a digital marketplace that connects individuals or businesses seeking moving and logistics services ("Customers") with independent third-party logistics providers ("Movers" or "Partners").

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.

2. Service Requests and Quotes

When a Customer submits a move request, it is broadcast to eligible Movers. Movers may submit quotes based on the information provided.

A contract is formed directly between the Customer and the Mover when the Customer accepts a quote. MOVr is not a party to this contract but facilitates the platform on which the connection is made.

3. Payments and Fees

Customers agree to pay the amount specified in the accepted quote. Payments are processed through our secure third-party payment processor (Paystack).

MOVr charges a service fee for facilitating the transaction, which is included in the quote or displayed at checkout. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in our Refund Policy.

4. Insurance and Liability

MOVr provides base insurance coverage for moves booked through the platform, as detailed on our Safety page. However, the Mover is primarily responsible for the safe transport of goods.

MOVr’s total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of the platform is limited to the amount of the service fee paid for the specific transaction in question.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations are subject to our Cancellation Policy. Depending on when a cancellation occurs, a fee may apply. Refunds are processed according to the original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to appear in your account.

6. Code of Conduct

Users agree to interact with each other and MOVr staff in a professional and respectful manner. Harassment, discrimination, and illegal activities are strictly prohibited and will result in permanent account suspension.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of MOVr or its licensors and is protected by international copyright and trademark laws.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
